After years of trying different jobs like landscaping, hop farming, beer brewing, and being a licensed massage therapist, I finally decided to follow my true passion—woodworking! That’s how Bergen’s Timberworks was born, sparked by a mix of excitement, hope, and a little fear of the unknown. Even with those nerves, I’m feeling positive about the journey ahead for me and my little shop buddy, Bergen.

Bergen

Bergen is an Australian Shepherd and the best shop dog anyone could ask for. While I’m hard at work in the garage, you can usually find him soaking up the sun in the driveway. We first met in January 2021 when he was just 8 weeks old, and we’ve been inseparable ever since. Bergen’s my road-trip buddy, too—we’ve traveled across the country twice and visited 45 states together. He’s my best friend, which is exactly why I named the business after him. And while he might lack opposable thumbs, he’s still a pro with a miter saw!
